Flight operation resumed after suspending due to heavy rain in Karachi

Rainfall with thunderstorm has hit several areas of Karachi On Friday under the new spell of the monsoon system, many flights were suspended and diverted to Nawabshah airport.

According to details, the PIA PK369 flight from Islamabad was landed at Nawabshah Airport instead of landing at Jinnah International Airport, Karachi due to inclement weather. Passengers were not allowed to disembark.

Just after the weather turned normal, PK369 flight was diverted back to Karachi, PIA spokesman said

PIA spokesman Abdullah Khan said,

“The weather is fine, the flight left Nawabshah for Karachi.”

It is pertinent to mention here that PK369 landed at Nawabshah Airport due to precautionary measures due to rain and inclement weather in Karachi.
