PM Imran Khan directs to reduce prices of food items

Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that strict measures should be taken to reduce the prices of food items.

According to details, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Imran Khan on food prices in which the Prime Minister became active on inflation across the country.

The Prime Minister was briefed on food prices and steps taken to control prices.

The meeting, chaired by Imran Khan, also considered issues related to blending and hoarding.

On the occasion, the Prime Minister directed that action be taken against the hoarders without any discrimination.

Prime Minister Imran Khan further said that maximum relief should be provided to the people while strict measures should be taken to bring down the prices of food items.

The meeting was also attended by Federal Ministers, Advisors, Special Assistants and Chief Secretaries of the four provinces.
