Private Schools Association has decided to reopen the educational institutions across Sindh from August 15 during a meeting of the committee.
Pervez Haroon, the head of the Private Schools Action Committee said that the patience level has crossed the limits. With the joint decision of National Education Conference Islamabad, schools are scheduled to reopen from August 15. The independence day of Pakistan will be celebrated with simplicity. Students will sing the national anthem in the school and wave the national flag.
“School owners and teachers are committing suicide, but the government does not care. The federal and provincial governments have not informed our institutions. Many school owners have started working hard,” said Pervez Haroon.
During the meeting, 74%people were in favor of opening the schools.
According to the Gallup poll, 74% of parents are willing to send their children back to school, as the corona situation is getting better in the country, said Haroon.
There are certain code of conducts that will be followed by private schools if the situation worsens, we will not reopen the school for the children’s safety.
He said that promotion certificates should be provided to the children in all the boards of Sindh soon and the results of the ninth and tenth examinations should be announced.
