Ehsaas Cash program benefited 11.6 million people

During the meeting chaired by Finance Advisor Abdul Hafeez Sheikh, the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Poverty Alleviation Sania Nishtar said that 11.6 million people have been benefited from the Ehsaas Cash program.

According to Sania Nishtar, under the Ehsaas Cash program, Rs175 billion has been distributed among 10 million people. On the other hand, 4.6 million people are the beneficiaries of the sponsorship program.

While briefing the meeting, Sania Nishtar said that 11.6 million people have benefited from the one-time cash program during the coronavirus pandemic in Pakistan. Also, a list for the second installment of the Ehsaas Cash program has already been prepared.

Finance Advisor Abdul Hafeez Sheikh while appreciating the performance of the Poverty Alleviation Division said that the Poverty Alleviation Division has helped in the uncertainty of the needy and poor class of the country.
