President Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) and Leader of Opposition Shehbaz Sharif has said that the return of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, not possible unless doctors allow.
According to the details, in a recent statement, President Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) and Leader of Opposition Shehbaz Sharif said it was not possible for his brother to return to the country without getting treatment.
Shehbaz Sharif said that the problem was not of the return of the former prime minister but was his health.
In addition to this, he said that the ruling party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) had claimed that Kulsoom Nawaz, wife of the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz supremo, was not ill but she passed away asking if it was possible to repair the damage done by the allegation.
Shehbaz Sharif reminded that doctors have said that traveling for Nawaz Sharif in the current situation can be “life-threatening”.
He added that the government had also “admitted” that the PML-N supremo’s treatment could not be done in Pakistan.
“Government had sent him to London on the recommendation of government and non-government doctors but his treatment was delayed due to coronavirus,” said Shehbaz in the statement.
Let it be known that the Islamabad High Court on Tuesday rejected a plea for exemption from personal appearance in the Al-Azizia case and issued a nonbailable arrest warrant for former prime minister Nawaz Sharif.
The IHC ordered the authorities to arrest the PML-N leader and produce him before the court
The Islamabad High Court heard Nawaz Sharif’s appeal against the sentence in the Azizia reference.
IHC bench comprising Justice Amir Farooqui and Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani maintained that Nawaz Sharif’s bail has expired in the said case.
On September 9, former prime minister Nawaz Sharif filed a petition in IHC requesting the court to forgo its order of surrender on September 10 in Al-Azizia reference.
It is pertinent to mention here that fresh medical reports of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif were submitted to the Lahore High Court on Tuesday.
According to the fresh report, The doctor has advised Nawaz Sharif to stay in London for the best treatment and continue medical therapy.
