Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar has inaugurated the Punjab Rozgar Scheme, amounting to nearly 30 billion rupees worth of accessible financing, especially for small businesses and young entrepreneurs.
According to the details, He took to his official twitter handle and said this ambitious scheme is intended to boost business activity, especially in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, providing soft loans and establishing special designated economic zones.
The provincial government has set up Rahimyar Khan, Bhalwal, Vehari, Faisalabad, and the Quaid e Azam Business Park near Sheikhupura, as special economic zones.
Earlier Usman Buzdar said that the mark-up on loans for women has been kept low. He added that transgender persons could also avail the easy loans facility, whereas, the government finalized a plan for low mark-up to women.
He also announced that the provincial government will review plans for further reducing the mark-up. Chief Minister Usman Buzdar said that the young generation will not only groom their skills but also be provided employment.
Usman Buzdar said that the Punjab government was focused on human development, education, and economic improvement.
