Chairman NAB Justice (Retd) Javed Iqbal has said that a joint investigation team has been set up comprising of investigation officers, legal consultants and financial experts.
According to details, a meeting was held at NAB headquarters under the chairmanship of Justice (Retd) Javed Iqbal in which the chairman said that NAB has full faith in zero corruption sophistication and NAB is committed to eradicating corruption.
Chairman NAB said that with new determination and determination, we are committed to eradicating corruption. NAB officials are making eradication of corruption a national duty and NAB is working hard to fulfil the mission of making the country corruption-free.
The Chairman said that the officers were performing their duties on the basis of hard work, commitment, transparency and merit.
He said that a joint investigation team has been set up comprising of investigation officers, legal consultants and financial experts.
According to the chairman, a memorandum of understanding has been signed with China to oversee the CPEC projects while a memorandum of understanding has been signed with the Higher Education Commission to raise awareness on corruption.
He said that Pakistan is the first chairman of the SAARC Anti-Corruption Forum that acknowledged the NAB’s performance.
Javed Iqbal said that NAB has received Rs 466 billion and deposited it in the national treasury and the conviction rate in NAB cases is 86.8 per cent.
