Prime Minister Imran Khan will inaugurate Hassan Abdal Railway Station on Friday (today).

The Premier will also visit Swat where he will inaugurate a new block of Saidu Sharif hospital.

On the other hand, he will also attend a ceremony in connection with the distribution of Sehat Sahulat Cards and address the gathering there.

As per the details, the Hassan Abdal railway station has been constructed for 300 million rupees. It consists of the grand and first floors.

Clean and cold water plants have been installed for the convenience of the passengers. Apart from this, a canteen has also been constructed along with the waiting area.

A new tubewell has also been installed to meet the water requirement of the Hassan Abdal railway station as well as the installation of 300 VK generator for uninterrupted power supply.

Earlier on November 03, Prime Minister Imran Khan unveiled major relief package of the electricity tariff for small and medium industries to encourage higher power consumption and manufacturing.

The prime minister said that starting November 1, the additional electricity used by SMEs up to June 30, 2021, will be sold at 50% lower cost.

“So whatever amount of electricity they use in addition to what they used last November, it will cost [half] of what it did previously,” he explained.

“Our exports in 2018 started decreasing as soon as we assumed charge. But we did not immediately try to increase them because our growth rate is based on exports,” the premier said.

Speaking about further lockdown crisis, the premier said that after the lockdown period, record-high cement sales have been recorded.
