Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has demanded the abolition of National Accountability Burau.

Khaqan Abbasi said while addressing media on Monday that even NAB officials say that there are no corruption charges against us.

“It’s been two years yet we are unaware of allegations levied against us. This government is busy taking political revenge while the economy, industry, and investment sectors are suffering badly,” he said.

He claimed that laws are being made to serve the agendas of one person only.

“Add judiciary and military in NAB if you think this institution is important. Everyone is holding the opposition accountable but no one is asking government over its corruption,” he said.

In addition to this, the former PM said that referred to the alleged abduction of Inspector General (IG) Sindh in connection with PML-N leader Captain (Retd.) Safdar. He said that it’s been two weeks the case is unresolved.

“We are awaiting a suo moto notice regarding the issue of IG Sindh,” he said.

Apart from that, Abbasi said, “All day long, federal ministers hurl accusations at Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM). The ministers are willing to do all kinds of stupid things for political point-scoring. Pakistan had nothing to do with the Pulwama incident.”
