Kashmiris rejected Indian propaganda on Local Govt polls says Shehryar Khan Afridi

Chairman of the Parliament’s Kashmir Committee, Shehryar Khan Afridi said on Thursday that people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K) have foiled Indian propaganda about District Development Councils elections.

According to the details, in his statement, Shehryar Khan Afridi said that Kashmiris foil Indian propaganda about Local Government polls as Delhi uses this staged polls to legitimize its occupation of valley, for which Kashmiris say it’s all facade.

Chairman Kashmir Committee said the Modi regime is pushing its expansionist agenda to materialize the evil plan of ‘greater India’ by forcefully converting Indian minorities from different ethnic groups including Muslims, Christians, Sikhs and Dalits to Hinduism.

As per reports, he also said that India would not succeed in suppressing the freedom struggle of the people of occupied valley through its atrocities. He said it is responsibility of the United Nations to implement its resolutions to resolve the Kashmir issue.

On the other hand, in the Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), the brutal Indian forces launched a massive cordon and search operation (CASO) in Sopore area of Baramullah district. The joint team of the Indian Army, Central Reserve Police Force and Special Operation Group launched the operation in Wanigam Payeen area of the district.

Indian troops during house raids arrested over a half dozen youth in Pulwama district as well.
