A Pakistan Army Aviation helicopter crashed due to technical reasons during casualty evacuation in Minimarg, Gilgit Baltistan today.
According to a statement issued by Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR), the helicopter crashed due to a technical fault in the Minimarg area of Gilgit-Baltistan.
According to ISPR, four youths including pilot Major Muhammad Hussain were martyred in the helicopter crash.
Co-pilot Major Ayaz Hussain, Naik Inzamam Alam and soldier Muhammad Farooq were also martyred in the accident.
According to ISPR, the helicopter was evacuating body of shaheed soldier Sepoy Abdul Qadeer to CMH Skardu.
Major Ayaz, who was martyred in the helicopter crash, belongs to Malir area of Karachi while Major Hussain Shaheed was a resident of Khaplo area of Skardu.
Besides, Naik Inzamam belongs to Chakwal and soldier Farooq Shaheed was a resident of Sahiwal.
