Sindh government establishes its own medical and dental commission

Sindh Cabinet on Thursday announced that Sindh Medical Commission has been established. The Commission will regulate all Public and Private Medical Colleges.

According to the details, Sindh Cabinet has decided to set up Sindh Medical Commission under Pakistan Medical Commission. The decision states that 95 percent of the admission to be given to the students of Sindh and 5 percent to the other students.

he Sindh health department will share the recommendations with the Pakistan Medical Commission in a letter soon.

Previously in October, the provincial health department had announced setting up the Sindh Medical and Dental Council in the same month.

The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council had been dissolved and replaced by the Pakistan Medical Commission through a presidential ordinance in October last year.
