While giving an exclusive interview to BOL News senior journalists Sami Abraham and Jameel Farooqui, Prime Minister Imran Khan calls 2008 to 2018 a decade of darkness.

The BOL News senior journalist Jameel Farooqui asked Prime Minister Imran Khan why PEMRA’s chairman was appointed even he did not meet the merit?

To which Imran Khan replied,

“Pakistan has struggled for democracy, the country is in a dark period from 2008 to 2018, in which every institution was subverted.”

PM Khan also said that there is no doubt that chairman PEMRA was appointed by putting merit above all else, not only PEMRA there are other institutions as well in which people were appointed without meeting the merit.

“We cannot remove chairman PEMRA due to constitutional restrictions”.

He further added,

“The chairman has to complete his tenure and the government cannot do anything”.

PM Demands ECP To Make Public Investigation Of Foreign Funding

Prime Minister Imran Khan has demanded the Election Commission Of Pakistan (ECP) to make public the investigation of foreign funding.

While giving an exclusive interview to BOL News’ senior journalists Sami Abraham and Jameel Farooqui, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that We need to learn from China and the United States how they developed.

In a democracy, the Prime Minister is accountable, we will bring meritocracy in Pakistan and will bring the system of across the board accountability, PM said.

Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto remained in the cabinet of military dictatorship for 8 years and I am the only politician who is not groomed in the nursery of the GHQ, the premier added.
