According to ISPR, security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation at the hideout of the suspected terrorists in Mir Ali.

Three militants were killed during an intense exchange of fire, the ISPR said. They were affiliated with the Aleem Khan group.

The terrorists were involved in attacks over security forces, target killings and kidnappings for ransom.

On February 12th, four soldiers were martyred in a gun attack on a security forces post in Makeen, South Waziristan, ISPR said in a statement.

According to the ISPR statement, the “terrorist fire raid” targeted a security post located in Makeen, South Waziristan.

‘During an intense exchange of fire, four brave soldiers embraced shahadat while repulsing raiding terrorists.’ ISPR said.

ISPR also added that Pakistani troops killed 4 terrorists. A large scale search and clearance operation was in progress in the area.

Earlier this month, four terrorists were killed during a security operation in Mir Ali, while two soldiers were martyred and four others were injured.

According to the ISPR, the killed terrorists were involved in firing and landmine attacks on security forces.
