Punjab Education Minister Murad Raas contracts coronavirus

Punjab Education Minister Murad Raas has tested positive for coronavirus, he announced on Monday.

Taking to Twitter, he announced his illness. He requested everyone – who came in contact with him- to get tested.

I have tested positive for COVID 19. I would like the people that have come in contact with me in the past few days during meetings to get tested. May Allah protect all of you.

26 coronavirus patients died in the past 24 hours

Twenty-six coronavirus patients lost the battle in the last 24 hours, BOL News reported on Monday.

According to the latest updates given by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), 1,048 new Covid-19 cases have been reported in the last 24 hours.

Over 32,019 coronavirus tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours. Moreover, 525,997 patients have recovered and 1,680 are in critical condition.

The number of positive cases in Pakistan has reached 564,077 whereas the death toll has reached 12,333 so far.
