Prime Minister Imran Khan has on Tuesday (today) highlighted the true ideology of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah on the occasion of Pakistan Day on March 23.

Taking to his Twitter, PM Imran said that we are still unable to achieve our goals because we lost sight of Quaid’s vision to get the actual Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

“So far we have been unable to achieve our great potential because we lost sight of our Quaid’s vision. Today Pakistan is back on track to realize that ideal by bringing the powerful under rule of law and setting up a welfare state with our programmes of Ehsaas, Panagahs & health cards,” he wrote.

He further added that Muslims need to follow the right guiding principles of Quaid-e-Azam in order to achieve the Pakistan our founder had dreamt for.

In another tweet, he said, “When Muslims moved away from these guiding principles, their civilization decayed and declined. 81 yrs ago today our Quaid gave us the dream for Pakistan as envisioned by the great philosopher and poet Iqbal and based on these Riyasat-e-Madina principles.”

The Prime Minister further added that if we try to follow each and every principle spread out by our Holy Prophet PBUH, in a very less time, Muslims will and has become the greatest civilization for the next few centuries.

“15 centuries ago our Holy Prophet PBUH set up the first welfare state in Madina: based on rule of law, meritocracy, compassion & tolerance; & where quest for knowledge was made a sacred duty. In a couple of decades Muslims became the greatest civilization for next few centuries,” wrote the premier.
