PML-N’s Captain (R) Safdar escapes egg strike outside Peshawar High Court

Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Captain (R) Safdar on Thursday survived an egg attack outside Peshawar High Court (PHC).

According to the details, the incident occurred when Captain Safdar was standing outside the court and an unidentified man threw an egg at him. Husband of PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz, dodged the egg which instead hit a party worker.

According to the media reports, the police arrested the person who threw an egg at Captain Safdar.

Earlier this week, ink and an egg were thrown at Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Political Communication Dr Shahbaz Gill when he arrived Lahore High Court.

Media reports said that a Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz worker threw ink and an egg on Prime Minister’s spokesperson Shahbaz Gill face in the premises of the Lahore High Court.

Soon after the incident, a clash took place between Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz workers.

Addressing media in the premises of Lahore High Court, Dr Shahbaz Gill said that, “We do not react in the same as Opposition, they are on the verge of bullying.” He said that anti-Government alliance was humiliated in the Senate and stressed that the corrupt will be held accountable.
