On Tuesday, Pakistan Navy’s (PN) officers, Chief Petty Officers, Sailors and civilians were conferred with military awards at a ceremony in Karachi.

According to the Pakistan Navy Spokesperson, the Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi was the chief guest on the occasion.

Pakistan Navy Spokesperson said that nine officers of Pakistan Navy were awarded with Sitara Imtiaz (Military) and twenty officers Tamgha Imtiaz (Military).

In recognition of their valiance and bravery, eleven sailors were conferred with Tamgha-e-Basalat.

116 Chief Petty Officers and Sailors were conferred with Tamgha Khidmat Military Class One, Two and Three.

99 officers, Chief Petty Officers, Sailors and Civilians were also given commendation letters by the Chief of the Naval Staff.

Earlier this month, CNS Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi expressed complete satisfaction over the operational readiness of the Pakistan Navy.

Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi while presiding Pakistan Navy Command and Staff Conference reviewed the security situation in the region, operational readiness of the Pakistan Navy and training and welfare of its personnel.

On the occasion, the Naval Chief was given a detailed briefing on the ongoing and future plans of the Pakistan Navy. The Naval Chief also directed for full implementation of government policies to curb the spread of Coronavirus pandemic in the country.
