PM launches uniform curriculum to end class-based system in education sector

Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that with the use of technology, we will for the first time in Pakistan hold transparent elections whose results are acceptable to all.

On Friday, Prime Minister Imran Khan visited the Nadar headquarters. On this occasion, the Prime Minister inaugurated the new mobile registration van project of NADRA.

A briefing was also given on the initiatives of 19 Mobile Vaccination Passes, National Certification and Renewal Campaign, and new NADRA Registration Centers / New Mobile Registration Vans. The Prime Minister also visited NADRA’s National Data Warehouse and Operations Room on the occasion.

During the visit, the Prime Minister said that the issuance of Alien Registration Cards would enable foreigners to enter the mainstream of business. There are 3 million Afghan refugees residing in Pakistan for whom having NADRA data is important. Other unregistered people, including Afghan refugees, will be able to join the national mainstream. They will be able to open bank accounts while also doing business.

The Prime Minister said that the main task of the government is to make life easier for the citizens. For the first time in Pakistan, using data and technology, we will hold elections whose results will be acceptable to all.

The Prime Minister said, “By linking NADRA’s data with electronic voting machines, we will make the best elections of the 21st century. The move would eliminate fraudulent voting and the stamp system.”
