LAHORE: Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique has announced 30 per cent reduction in railway fares during first three days of Eid-ul-Fitr.
Addressing a press conference in Lahore on Friday, he vowed to focus on structural reforms in Pakistan Railways to restore its glory.
The minister regretted that various projects were not completed because of negligence of the previous government.
On March 7, the then federal minister for railways Muhammad Azam Khan Swati had said that he and his team were fully determined to take Pakistan Railways to new heights of glory as billions of rupees would be generated from branding of trains.
