Former special assistant to prime minister Shahbaz Gill and former advisor to prime minister on accountability Mirza Shahzad Akbar on Tuesday wondered that who put their names on the stop list, when there was no government and voting on no-confidence motion was underway.
In a tweet, Shahbaz Gill said on the one hand, the most corrupt person in Pakistan was made the prime minister through a foreign conspiracy with the help of horse trading. “On the other hand, on the night of April 9 and 10, when the no-confidence motion was not even completed, who was in such a hurry to put our names (on the list)?” he asked.
He said he was going to challenge the illegal act in the Islamabad High Court.

Shahzad Akbar said the revenge actions had begun by the newly-appointed prime minister. He sarcastically congratulated the nation on election of the prime minister who had laundered Rs16 billion and the one who performed his duties was put on the stop list.
“I am challenging this move of the imported government in the Islamabad High Court today,” he said adding that surprisingly, the names were placed on the list in the night of no-confidence at 1:55 am when there was no government or cabinet.

Both the associates of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said restriction on their international departure was illegitimate. Requesting to lift the restriction on them, they said there was no allegation or case against them.
Names of some important leaders of the PTI and associates of former Prime Minister Imran Khan were put in the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA)’s stop list, BOL News had reported on April 11.
The FIA had said that the names of Imran Khan’s former special assistants Shahbaz Gill, Shahzad Akbar, former principal secretaries Azam Khan, Arsalan Khalid and Dr Rizwan along with Gohar Nafees had been included in the stop list.
