ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan on Saturday said that what Imported Govt did in Sialkot against PTI leadership and workers is outrageous, but not unexpected.
The ex-premier announced on Twitter that he will be going to Sialkot today, let there be no doubt.
“This bunch of criminals out on bail & their convict mafia boss in London have always used fascist tactics against opponents,” he added.
Khan went on to say, “when they are in power – storming of SC, Model Town murders, bribing judges, NS trying to declare himself Amir ul Momineen. They use & abuse democracy when in opposition & totally destroy all democratic norms when in power. But ppl [people] have now risen ag them.”
While giving the example of his tenure Imran Khan wrote, “Our govt never stopped any of their jalsas, sit-ins, rallies bec [because] we are committed to democracy. I will be in Sialkot today & I am calling on all our ppl to come out & protest in their areas/cities after Isha prayers against this fascist Imported govt.”

Ahead of the PTI meeting in Sialkot, the administration booked several party leaders including Usman Dar early today.
As reported by Bol News, the police did shelling and baton-charged the PTI activists.
The PTI activists and leaders have been apprehended for choosing CTI Ground which, according to the administration, is a private property owned by the minority community.
PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz has praised the administration’s action and shared a video in which the DPO was restricting the PTI workers to hold a public gathering at the venue.

Note that after the Christian community objected to the PTI’s scheduled Jalsa at their land, the Sialkot district administration declined PTI’s request to conduct a rally at the CTI ground.
Earlier today, PTI supporters were arrested during preparations for today’s gathering in Sialkot and the Police vacated the CTI ground, which is owned by the Christian community.
On the other hand, Federal Minister for Aviation & Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique said that Pakistan Tehreek-e Insaf'(PTI)’s attempt to hold a public gathering in a church-owned ground in Sialkot against the will of the Christian community is a despicable attempt to suppress minorities.
The Minister wrote on Twitter that the administration is ready to accommodate but using someone’s private property without their consent is bullying, not democracy.
