PTI finalizes long-march schedule from Lahore to Islamabad

• The proposed complete schedule of when, how, and where the long march of PTI chief Imran Khan will reach has been prepared.
• The elected representatives including central and provincial officials will also be informed about the schedule today.
• Sources said that the Chairman PTI  will now stay in Lahore till Friday and the long march will start from Liberty Chowk after Friday prayers.

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) has finalized the long-march schedule from Lahore to Islamabad while the final decision will be taken by the Chairman PTI Imran Khan.

The proposed complete schedule of when, how, and where the long march of  PTI chief Imran Khan will reach has been prepared. The elected representatives including central and provincial officials will also be informed about the schedule today.

Sources said that the Chairman PTI  will now stay in Lahore till Friday and the long march will start from Liberty Chowk after Friday prayers.

According to the sources, the first destination of the long- march will be Liberty Chowk to Shahdara Interchange on Friday night.

Besides, the long march will start from Shahdara on Saturday and the next stop will be in Gujranwala, the city. On Sunday, the next destination of the long march will be Gujarat after traditional breakfast of Gujranwala.

Sources said that Chief Minister Punjab Pervaiz Elahi and Moonis Elahi will welcome the long march in Gujarat, while the destination of the long march will be at Sarai Alamgir between Gujarat and Jhelum.

Sources said that with the start of the new week on Monday, the long march will move towards its next destination, Jhelum, where PTI’s central leader Fawad Chaudhry will host the long march.

On Tuesday, Imran Khan will encamp in Rawat along with his long march through Gujjar Khan. In Rawat Imran Khan will formulate the final strategy for advancing toward Islamabad during the night address on Wednesday.

According to sources, convoys from North and South Punjab, Sargodha, Chakwal, Mianwali, Bhakkar, and Layyah will participate in the long march at Rawat.

While on Wednesday, the next destination was decided towards Faizabad, the confluence of Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

Apart from this, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Kashmir, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will plan to move their convoys towards Islamabad on Tuesday evening while convoys from Karachi, Sukkur, Rahim Yar Khan, Multan will meet at Shahdara Interchange on Saturday.

It should be noted that Imran Khan will meet the members of national and provincial assemblies with his central committee in Lahore today. During this, Imran Khan will also meet with other officials including provincial presidents, and division presidents.

It should be noted that to save the workers from fatigue, they will be made a part of the long march in phases. While Imran Khan will take at least six and maximum of eight days to reach Islamabad from Lahore.
