BOL soon to unveil memorial of journalist Arshad Sharif, vows to keep him in thoughts

Pakistan’s most-liked news channel, BOL News, is all set to unveil the memorial of the senior anchorperson Arshad Sharif – killed in Kenya – and will invite the mother of the slain journalist to inaugurate the loving memory.

Co-Chairperson BOL Network Shoaib Shaikh while sparing a thought for Arshad said that the journalist will always be kept in the loving memories of BOL and the BOL family will not let anyone brush off his memories.

He also said that for the inauguration of the memorial mother of Arshad Sharif will be invited to the BOL Karachi office along with Anchorperson Sami Ibrahim, Imran Riaz Khan, Siddique Jan, and others who had a strong bond with the journalist.

Shaikh while divulging motives behind the fake cases against the organizations maintained that since inception BOL has been advocating “Haqeeqi Sahafat” which was a threat to these people who eventually resist and stood against the media outlet.

“The channel came under fire for being a threat to those who are once again in power now and tried to build fake cases to shut the voice of BOL.”

He added that the channel was approached by 90% of the Pakistani journalists not because it was giving handsome packages but because all the journalists want transparent journalism.

He also commended PTI Chairman Imran Khan that he has been standing alone on the path of freedom adding that similar is the case with BOL, “The channel has been sticking to its grounds alone but determined.”

BOL News, one of the most liked channels in Pakistan, is committed to propagating truth and authenticity since its inception and still upholds true journalistic norms in Pakistan.

The channel has been the only one in Pakistan that is working for the freedom of journalism and is speaking for the truth with audacity.

The channel was targeted many times in several ways and was shut down as well for the stances it has been supporting. From pressures – to sack employees like Sami Ibrahim and Jameel Farooqui to attempts to confine Co-Chairperson BOL Network Shoaib Shaikh to his home – things were made complicated for the media organization and the channel had to go through the worst but it never bend in front of all such powers.
