Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa visits Multan Garrison.
RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Friday visited Multan and interacted with officers and men of Multan Garrison.
While interacting with strike formations’ troops, COAS commended their extraordinary professional competence and devotion to duty in the service of the motherland, said a statement by the Inter-Services Press Relations. (ISPR).

A day earlier, Gen Bajwa visited Sialkot and Mangla garrisons as part of his farewell visits to various formations.
The military’s media wing said the army chief met officers and men at both locations and addressed the troops.
COAS Bajwa appreciated formations for their excellent performance during various operations, training, and natural calamities.
On November 9, COAS Gen Bajwa visited Peshawar where he floral wreath at the Shuhada (Martyrs) monument and addressed officers and men of the Peshawar corps.
COAS appreciated the formation for monumental efforts in achieving peace and stability. “We owe it to the sacrifices of our shuhada for providing secure and enabling environment for socio-economic development in newly-merged districts in particular and KP in general,” the army chief was quoted as saying.
“Always stay focused on your professional duties in the service of nation,” the army chief added.
On arrival at Corps Headquarters, COAS was received by Commander Peshawar Corps Lieutenant General Hassan Azhar Hayat.
