Gas load shedding: Shortage of supply aggravates situation for people

With the outset of winter in Pakistan, gas load shedding soared in almost all major cities including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, Multan, Hyderabad and others.

The rise in gas outages has worsened the problems of the citizens already wide-eyed with the skyrocketing inflation in the country.

Meanwhile, the Sui Northern gas authorities have maintained complete silence on the matter after the announcement of load shedding.

The shortage of gas supply influenced the price of gas cylinders and the people were forced to get the basic necessity by waiting in queues for a long.

On the other hand, SSGC announced a whopping 16-hour load shedding after which the consumers will get only an 8-hour supply of the basic necessity.

The SSGC spokesperson said that they are facing a shortage of 350-400mmcfd.
