KARACHI: The bail plea filed by the third wife of Aamir Liaquat, Dania Shah, has been rejected by the court today.
A hearing was held on the petition filed by Dania Shah in an obscene video case on the complaint of Aamir Liaquat’s daughter Dua Aamer.
The Judicial Magistrate while pronouncing the reserved decision rejected the plea of Dania in today’s hearing. The decision was reserved earlier after arguments from both sides.
Pertinently, Dania Shah was arrested from Lodhran after a complaint was filed against her in the FIA for making and sharing the obscene video of the host.
The FIA has registered an FIR under Sections 20, 21 and 24 of the PICA Ordinance 2016 and has arrested the accused after important evidence came to light after the investigation.
After the arrest, Dania moved the court against the complaint and filed for bail. The petition submitted that the case filed against her is fake rebuffing the claims of sharing the video.
The lawyer of Dania Shah, Liaquat Gabu, said that the host had no complaints with his third wife and the case has been forged to deprive her of her right to inheritance.
