KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and former president Asif Zardari have congratulated all the people of Sindh on the occasion of Sindh Culture Day.

Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in his message on Culture Day said that the culture of Sindh is a beautiful combination of Indus and Islamic civilization. He said the mother of Sindh’s culture is Mohan Jo Daru.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari while congratulating the people celebrating this day all over the world including Pakistan said that Sindh’s ajrak, topi, rally, folk literature, music, and traditional food are unique in their own way.

He said that Pakistan’s cultural diversity is its beauty and strength, and the world also agrees that cultural diversity is the common heritage of humanity. The chairman further said that promoting Pakistani culture, art and literature is the manifesto of the PPP.

On the other hand, former President Asif Ali Zardari congratulated all the residents of Sindh and said that intelligent and civilized nations never forget their culture, civilization, and language.

He said that the founder of PPP, Quaid-e-Awam Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Shaheed, established the Ministry of Culture to highlight the culture of Pakistani nations, and established museums of culture so that nations can maintain respect for their culture.

Asif Zardari said that peace, affection, love, honor, and brotherhood have been the great civilization of Sindh. He said Sindh is the land of Sufi elders, learned friends, and brave men.

The Sindh Culture Day is being celebrated with zeal and zest across the Sindh province and other parts of the country.

The day is celebrated on the first Sunday of every December.

On this occasion, various cultural, government, and non-government organizations organized seminars, rallies, and conferences to highlight the centuries-old culture of Sindh valley.
