LAHORE: The school suspended four female students on Tuesday after they were accused of torturing the victim and another student in their class at a private school in the Defence Housing Authority (DHA), BOL News reported.

The four suspects were arrested last week for allegedly abusing a classmate at a Lahore school. Later, pre-arrest bail was granted in exchange for surety bonds of Rs50,000 for each of them.

The police were prohibited from detaining them until January 30 by the court as well. The girls have been suspended, according to the school administration, pending the outcome of the case’s inquiry.

A three-person investigating committee was established by the administration to look into the occurrence. The investigative committee has been given instructions to conclude the probe and deliver the report in 10 days.

The administration said that “Action will be taken against those responsible in light of the investigation carried out by the committee.”

The Lahore District Commissioner Mohammad Ali will choose whether to fine or suspend the school’s license in connection with the incident involving the bullying and physical abuse of a female student by other girls that came to light last week.

In a school in Lahore, four schoolgirls were purportedly accused of abusing a classmate. However, the accused were later given pre-arrest releases on surety bonds totalling Rs. 50,000, which were valid until January 30.

The District Education Authority’s suggestions in its report, which was turned in earlier in the day, will be taken into consideration when making the decision. The investigation was carried out by the deputy district officers for Cantt and Model Town, as well as the female district officer for Lahore Elementary School Education.

According to the allegation, four female students “tortured their classmate” during the event, which happened outside the school’s cafeteria.

According to the report, the students in question were “friends,” and the conflict arose as a result of them showing their parents photos of a “student party outside the school.”

It went on to say that the school in question lacks discipline and does not have security cameras at the cafeteria door. The inquiry’s investigators have suggested either fining the school Rs 600,000 or suspending its registration. Additionally, the authorities have suggested expulsion for the students who assaulted the victim.

The Lahore DC, who had ordered the investigation as soon as the situation came to light, has received the inquiry report, which includes recommendations.

After a video of the girl students hitting the victim went viral on social media on January 21, police filed a first information report (FIR) against the accused under sections 337A I 354, and 379 of the PPC.

The FIR was filed by the victim’s father, Imran Younas. In the FIR, he claimed that his daughter’s classmate was a drug addict who wished for his daughter to work for her.

One of the girls allegedly also possessed a dagger, according to the FIR. In addition, the victim’s father said that the suspects stole his daughter’s gold chain and a locket as they were attacking her.

When his daughter declined to join their group, he claimed that two sisters mistreated her. The victim was beaten, brought to the canteen, and humiliated there, according to the FIR.

The victim’s father claimed that he also contacted the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to request that the people who posted the footage to social media be held accountable.

The woman can be seen pleading for aid while a girl is seen sitting on her back, twisting her arms, and verbally abusing her in the video.

A third girl can be seen slapping the victim as a second girl approaches the victim and sits on her back. According to reports, the woman suffered injuries to her face and was taken to a hospital for care.
