AJK PM Sardar Tanveer Ilyas called on Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah/
KARACHI: Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas on Tuesday called on Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah along with his delegation.
AJK PM arrived in Karachi on a visit and meet the chief minister. The delegation included Azad Jammu and Kashmir ministers Muhammad Rasheed, Faheem Akhtar, and Special Assistant Sabeel Riaz.
Provincial ministers Sharjeel Inam Memon, Saeed Ghani, provincial spokesperson Murtaza Wahab, Chief Secretary Sohail Rajput, and SMBR Baqaullah Unar were also present.
During the meeting, they discussed the recent wave of terrorism in the country. CM Sindh said the whole nation is united against the terrorists.
AJK Prime Minister expressed grief over martyred police and Rangers personnel in KPO attack. CM Sindh also discussed Indian atrocities in Occupied Kashmir with AJK PM.
Later AJK PM Sardar Tanveer Ilyas visiting the Sindh Assembly where he met PTI MPAs and other political leaders.
Addressing a press conference, he said and rumours and misunderstandings are being spread regarding the PTI and the party had endured a lot. He said people join parties for their ideologies and Pakistan should move ahead.
Tanvir Ilyas said he has great reverence for the ‘Land of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar’. He mentioned that the chief secretary in Azad Kashmir is from Sindh.
“This purpose of bringing this delegation here. One was a personal relationship with Pervez Musharraf and to perform Fatiha on his grave. We also had to pay our respects at Mazar-e-Quaid,” he said,
He said AJK Police will perform duties for the father of the nation. He said officers from Sindh who come to Azad Kashmir will promote to the next grade.
He said they have established the Sindh House in Azad Kashmir for parliamentarians of the province. He said the local governments should work on promoting tourism. “Give Azad Kashmir a chance. We will give you ten times mores,” he said, adding that Kashmiris are also settled in Karachi.
He said there is no politics on Kashmir and the lawmakers of the legislative assembly belong to different parities. He said India should be ashamed of its behavior in occupied Kashmir.
