ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah said that the law and order situation in the country will be ensured and lawbreakers will be arrested.
In his Twitter message, Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah said a detailed briefing was held today on the law and order situation in the context of the Jail Bharo Movement of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI).
Rana Sanaullah said that the record of the violators should be kept and will be clarified in their character certificate, and the evidence against the lawbreakers should be collected and brought before the people so that the real face of the lawbreakers would be exposed.
The Interior Minister said that the arrest of women and poor workers should be avoided. It is clear that the main objectives of the Jail Bharo Movement are to create drama, gain media attention, affect the law and order situation and create political instability.
Earlier, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Senior Vice President Fawad Chaudhry said the ‘Jail Bahro’ movement will start from Lahore tomorrow (Wednesday).
Speaking to media outside Zaman Park, the PTI leader said all arrangements have been completed for the ‘Jail Bahro Tehreek’ and party workers and leaders will start presenting themselves to court arrest as part their protest against the government.
