TURKIYE: Pakistan Air Force (PAF) C-130 Hercules aircraft carrying members of Search & Rescue team and blankets from PAF Base, Nur Khan has landed in Turkiye.
The PAF aircraft is carrying relief goods from people of Pakistan for the earthquake affected brethren of Turkiye.
The transport fleet of Pakistan Air Force has always been at the forefront to respond to natural disasters and calamities both inland and abroad.
Earlier, All-Parties Conference (APC) called to combat soaring terrorism in the country has been postponed due to Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif’s visit to earthquake-hit Turkiye.
Federal Information Minister Maryam Aurangzeb in her statement on Twitter said that the APC was postponed due to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s visit to Turkey. “The Prime Minister will leave for Ankara tomorrow morning.”
She said that the PM will depart to express solidarity with the people and government of Turkiye and will express his condolences over the loss of lives and destruction caused by the recent massive earthquake.
