PESHAWAR: Following the probe into the blast that took over 100 lives in Peshawar, more details regarding the attacker have surfaced.
The investigation team has succeeded in recovering the previous record of the suicide attacker of the Peshawar blast.
The team probing the matter disclosed that the name of the insurgent is Ayaz Mohammad and he had committed two murders.
The investigation team said that the attack had killed 2 people in Mohmand, as a result of which the local Jirga had given a verdict to demolish the house of Ayaz Mohmand, after which the civil administration and FC demolished his residence.
While it was also said that the local Jirga didn’t hand over Ayaz to the forces.
The investigation team said that Ayaz’s brother Arbistan Haleem Zai, a resident of Mohmand, was an activist of Jamaat-ul-Ahrar and was detained by the security forces in 2012, but the accused was acquitted by the court in 2018.
Notably, earlier it was revealed that the Indian agency RAW has been involved in the attack.
However, the investigating team has been saying that the attack was carried out by the Ahrar terrorist group, and both planning and funding were done abroad, the mastermind of the attack is Makram alias Sarabakf.
