LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Fawad Chaudhry said Tuesday that there has been a campaign running against the judiciary in Pakistan and PML-N has launched a cell to run this campaign.

Fawad Chaudhry was addressing a media when said that Maryam Nawaz has been steering the campaign against the judiciary.

He urged the Supreme Court to take notice of the situation and respond to the campaign kicked off to defame the judicial system.

Chaudhry also said that Chairman NAB has resigned due to pressure. “Chairman NAB resigns and it has been said that he resigned due to pressure to make cases against the political rivals.”

PTI leader also said that 28 criminal cases have been lodged against Imran Khan adding that he and other leaders are also facing criminal charges.

While touching on the issue of resignations of PTI members he demanded from Speaker NA to announce leader of opposition of PTI as the court has now rejected the order of ECP in regards to denotification of PTI members.

Castigating the Chief Election Commissioner, he also said that CEC was offered to be made President.

“Mohsin Naqvi travelled to 7 times to London during the time his appointment was made,” he added.

Fawad Chaudhry also underscored that PTI has been kicking off Jail Bharo Tehreek from tomorrow which is a peaceful path towards change.
