LAHORE: Following the rejection of Imran Khan’s plea for suspension of the non-bailable arrest warrant in the Toshakhana case, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to move Islamabad High Court (IHC) in this regard.

As per details, PTI”s lawyers will approach IHC against the non-bailable arrest warrant for Imran Khan.

Sources privy to the matter have revealed that the petition in this regard has been drafted and will be submitted to the high court after consultation with the legal team.

Pertinently, a district and sessions court has rejected Imran Khan’s plea file for suspension of arrest warrant issued by Judge Zafar Iqbal for failing to appear in the court on hearings.

The court – on February 28 – issued non-bailable warrant for Imran Khan and Islamabad Police reached the PTI chief’s residence yesterday to follow the court order.
