LAHORE: Senior Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) leader Musarrat Jamshed Cheema on Tuesday said PTI Chairman Imran Khan would lead the election rally from Zaman Park to Data Darbar in Lahore on Wednesday.

Musarrat Cheema tweeted, “Under the leadership of Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan, the election rally for Data Darbar will start from Zaman Park on Wednesday at 1 pm. At this time, the whole nation is understanding that ‘Save the Judiciary, Save Pakistan’.

She said the judiciary had tried to save Pakistan from anarchy and protect the constitution, for which they were under scrutiny.

Musarrat said the residents of Lahore would fully participate tomorrow to express their association with the constitution and protection of their rights. “Lahore has become the stronghold of PTI and tomorrow we will establish this,” she added.

On March 6, a team of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had visited the residence of PTI chief Imran Khan in Zaman Park.

The two-member team had arrived from Islamabad to hand over a summon notice in connection with money laundering and prohibited funding cases.

They had spent some time at the residence but were not allowed to meet with the former premier due to security concerns. After serving the notice, the team had left the residence without answering any questions from journalists.

It was the second time the NAB team had visited the PTI chief’s Zaman Park residence, with the first visit taking place on February 24.

NAB team had visited the residence of Imran Khan in relation to the Toshakhana case, The bureau had sought signatures on summon notices issued to former prime minister and his wife Bushra Bibi.  PTI chairman’s lawyer had received the notice on his behalf.
