Funeral prayer of soldiers martyred in North Waziristan offered: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: Funeral prayer of two soldiers who were martyred on Sunday night in North Waziristan have been offered in Bannu district, Bol News reported on Tuesday.

The military’s media wing, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said funeral prayer of of Sepoy Muhammad Sohail Shaheed, age 19 years, resident of District TharParkar, Sepoy Abdullah Shaheed, age 25 years, resident of District Mardan, who embraced shahadat on night 12/13 November 2023 at general area Mir Ali, North Waziristan District, were offered at District Bannu.

Shuhada were laid to rest with full military honour, the ISPR said in a press release.

Senior serving military officers, relatives of Shuhada and large strength of locals of the area attended the funerals.

“These sacrifices strengthen our resolve to stand resolute and committed to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the motherland at all cost,” the ISPR said.
