Pakistan Passport Renewal Fees in Saudi Arabia for March 2024 Update
The Directorate General of Immigration and Passports is responsible for issuing passports, the essential travel document, to Pakistani citizens. Whether it’s for work, tourism, or any other purpose, every citizen of Pakistan is entitled to a machine-readable passport when traveling abroad.
If you’re applying for a passport for the first time, here’s what you need to know:
To begin the process, visit the relevant passport office or foreign mission, depending on your location.
Evidence of the prescribed passport fee payment, through an original bank-paid fee challan (receipt) or e-payment confirmation detail (SMS or email), along with the PSID number
Original valid CNIC/NICOP (National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis) with a photocopy
Previous passport in original with its photocopy (if previously issued)
NOC (No Objection Certificate) from the concerned department if you are a government, semi-government, or autonomous body employee.
Foreign passport along with its photocopy (for dual nationals only).
In case of a lost passport, bring a lost passport police report mentioning the previous passport number.
As of November 2023, the urgent fees for 36-page, 72-page, and 100-page passports remain unchanged. The urgent fee is Rs6,000 for the 36-page passport, Rs10,000 for the 72-page passport, and Rs13,000 for the 100-page passport.
Obtaining a passport is a crucial step for international travel, and by following these steps and providing the necessary documents, you can ensure a smooth application process and obtain your passport in a timely manner.
