Consultations between Pakistan and the United States on various matters are underway, Foreign Office spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch reported.

Baloch said that the two countries are actively engaged in a series of visits aimed at furthering these consultations.

In the upcoming days, several visits are scheduled in the context of Pak-US consultation, as announced by Mumtaz Zahra Baloch.

Added, Juliet Wallace Noyes, the Assistant Secretary for Population, Refugees, and Migration, is set to arrive in Pakistan tomorrow, and her visit will extend until December 6.

Following this, US Special Envoy for Afghanistan, Tom West, is expected to visit Pakistan from December 7 to December 9; saif FO spokesperson.

Additionally she said that, US Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary Elizabeth Horst is scheduled to arrive in Islamabad on December 9, and her visit will also conclude on the same day.

Baloch highlighted that these visits are part of the ongoing negotiations between Pakistan and the United States, with a focus on various issues, including the evolving situation in Afghanistan.

However, she emphasized that the scope of these visits extends beyond Afghanistan, indicating that the consultations encompass a broader range of subjects.
