 The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leadership became active in order to give tough time to the opponents in the general elections, Bol News reported.

The PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto called a parliamentary board meeting in Sindh; on the other side, former President Asif Zardari met with the party leaders of Punjab and Balochistan in Lahore.

In the Parliamentary Board meeting held at Bilawal House Karachi under the chairmanship of the PPP, the Provincial Parliamentary Board discussed the political situation and made suggestions regarding the distribution of tickets.

During the meeting, Bilawal Bhutto was directed to speed up the preparations regarding the elections.

On the other hand, in Lahore, former president Asif Ali Zardari met with party leaders of Punjab and Balochistan, including Rozi Khan Kakar, Central Executive Committee member Ali Madad Jatak, Nadeem Afzal Chan, Riaz Shahwani, and Makhdoom Muhammad Irtaza, and discussed the country’s political situation.

The former president was also met by officials and workers of the People’s Party, including Mandi Bahuddin.

In the meetings, party leaders and workers discussed the overall political situation of the country and preparation for the general elections.
