KARACHI: Gold price of 24 karat in Pakistan increases by Rs100, reaching Rs215,900 per tola in the local market on Tuesday (Feb 27).
The All Pakistan Jewellers Manufacturers Association (APJMA) said that the price for 10 grams of gold surged by Rs86 to Rs185,100. In the international market, the price of gold also experienced an uptick, rising by $2 to $2,056.
This increase in gold prices can be attributed to a softening dollar and anticipation among investors regarding a forthcoming US inflation report, along with speeches from Federal Reserve officials that might offer insights into the central bank’s potential timing for rate cuts.
