The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has teamed up with NADRA to offer a convenient SMS service for the public.
This service helps eligible voters check their registration status by sending a text with their CNIC number to 8300.
Starting January 29, the ECP has made this SMS service free of charge, whereas it used to cost Rs2 per message.
Voters are encouraged to bring their expired CNICs or the token for a new one when going to the polling station, as they can still cast their vote using these.
How to Check Your Vote through 8300 SMS?
Voters are required type their CNIC without Hyphen (-) and spaces on their mobile and send it to 8300, you will get updated voter record.
