Lahore: Today’s meeting of coordination committees of Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) on the issue of government formation has been postponed.
According to the sources, the matters of government formation were to be finalized in the meeting, the meeting was postponed due to consultation with the leadership of the PML-N committee.
Moreover, a joint meeting of the coordination committees of both the parties will be held tomorrow for consultation on the issue of government formation.
Earlier, a meeting between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) has been arranged, Asad Qaiser will meet senior leader of Jamaat-e-Islami Liaquat Baloch this evening.
The sources reveal that on the direction of PTI founder, Tehreek-e-Insaaf is continuing to communicate with like-minded parties.
In this regard, JI spokesperson Qaiser Sharif said that the meeting of PTI and JI leadership will be held in Islamabad today, the PTI negotiation committee headed by Asad Qaiser will meet the Jamaat-e-Islami leaders.
