PTI, JI leaders to hold crucial meeting today

Islamabad: A meeting between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) has been arranged, Asad Qaiser will meet senior leader of Jamaat-e-Islami Liaquat Baloch this evening.

The sources reveal that on the direction of PTI founder, Tehreek-e-Insaaf is continuing to communicate with like-minded parties.

In this regard, JI spokesperson Qaiser Sharif said that the meeting of PTI and JI leadership will be held in Islamabad today, the PTI negotiation committee headed by Asad Qaiser will meet the Jamaat-e-Islami leaders.

Earlier, leader Latif Khosa contacted Jamaat-e-Islami leader Liaquat Baloch on telephone and said that the stand of JI leader Sirajul Haque is principled and cooperation should be done not only at the KP level but also at the federal level, will contact Jamaat-e-Islami after meeting PTI founder, to which Liaquat Baloch said that the way of negotiations is always open in political parties.

PTI leader Aamir Dogar also contacted Jamaat-e-Islami spokesperson Qaiser Sharif and conveyed a message that the negotiation team headed by Asad Qaiser wants to meet the leadership of JI, on which the spokesperson of JI said that the time and place of the meeting will be announced after consultation with the leadership.
