Sindh governor approves online property registration ordinance
Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori has given the green light to the Registration (Sindh Amendment) Ordinance 2024, allowing citizens to register their properties online through the Board of Revenue.
The move aims to streamline the property registration process and enhance convenience for the public.
Under this ordinance, citizens can now effortlessly submit applications or required documents for property registration from the comfort of their homes.
The submitted documents will undergo online verification directly from the database. Applicants will be promptly notified through SMS or email once the verification process is completed.
The immediate implementation of the ordinance across the province followed Governor Tessori’s signature, authorized by Clause 1 of Article 128 of the Constitution of Pakistan.
In a recent announcement, Governor Tessori also revealed financial assistance for individuals aged 75 and above who have not undertaken Hajj or Umrah.
Eligible individuals can register at the Governor House, and a selected group will be chosen for the pilgrimage through a balloting process, as stated by Tessori during his visit to Sindh Government Hospital Liaquatabad.
