Rain, light snowfall likely in Islamabad, Pakistan
In a recent update from the Meteorological Department, Islamabad is on the brink of a weather shift, potentially bringing rain and thunderstorms to the capital city. Weather experts anticipate not only rain but also thunder and lightning, promising an exciting change from the dry conditions.
This shift isn’t limited to Islamabad, as neighboring regions like Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan are also expected to see rainfall, accompanied by thunder and lightning.
The Pothohar region may also experience precipitation. In Islamabad, the forecast includes the possibility of thunder and lightning, adding drama to the weather experience.
Other areas, like Gilgit and Gurdunwah, may see a mix of rain and snow. Additionally, cities including Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, Gujrat, Sialkot, Narowal, and Lahore are forecast to receive rainfall.
Southern Balochistan may face strong winds, while areas like Abbottabad, Mansehra, and Gado Nawab could see rain and snowfall.
