Schengen Visa Fees Increase by 12% Starting Today
Spain stands out as a highly popular tourist spot globally due to its rich culture, iconic landmarks, beautiful beaches, delicious cuisine, and vibrant cities.
Pakistani tourists must secure a short-term Schengen visa to visit Spain for tourism. The visit visa is granted to those who meet specified criteria, including providing a bank statement. Applicants must maintain a minimum bank balance of 3,000 euros if their stay does not exceed 30 days.
All applicants must complete and sign the official application form, ensuring all sections are filled out. In the case of a minor applicant, one of their parents must sign the form.
A valid passport or travel document
Documents accrediting the purpose and conditions of the planned stay
Return or tourist circuit ticket, in all cases.
For tourist or private visits, applicants must provide either a confirmed reservation for an organized trip, proof of accommodation, or a letter of invitation from a private individual.
Travel medical insurance with a minimum coverage of €30,000 or its equivalent in local currency is required.
The Schengen visit visa fee is 80 euros for adult applicants and 40 euros for children aged 6 to 11. Children aged 5 and under are exempt from the fee.
Travelers must provide evidence of having adequate financial resources for their intended stay in Spain.
Each person must have a minimum of 100 euros per day. Moreover, the visit visa holder must possess at least 810 euros or its equivalent in foreign currency.
As of March 9, 2024, with one euro equal to Rs304, you would need approximately Rs729,000 in your bank account for a 30-day stay in Spain.
