Rain, wind, and thunderstorms are anticipated in Karachi, Hyderabad, and various parts of Sindh on Wednesday evening/night and Thursday.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) indicates the prevalence of a westerly wave over most parts of Balochistan, expected to extend its influence to the upper regions of Pakistan by Thursday.

Consequently, while most districts of the province may experience partly cloudy weather on Wednesday evening/night and Thursday, Sukkur, Jacobabad, Kashmore, Dadu, Larkana, Padidan, Qambar Shahdadkot, Mohenjo-Daro, Mirpur Khas, Sanghar, Jamshoro, Hyderabad, and Karachi are expected to witness rain, wind, and thunderstorms during these periods.

On Thursday, similar weather conditions are expected in Sukkur, Jacobabad, Kashmore, Padidan, Qambar Shahdadkot, Mirpur Khas, Mithi, Sanghar, Jamshoro, Hyderabad, Karachi, and Thatta.

Karachi’s maximum temperatures are forecasted to range between 31-33 degrees Celsius on Thursday and 32-34 degrees Celsius on Friday, while Hyderabad’s maximum temperatures are expected to range between 34-36 degrees Celsius on Thursday and 35-37 degrees Celsius on Friday.

Dry weather prevailed in Karachi, Hyderabad, and most parts of Sindh over the past 24 hours, with Mithi recording the highest temperature in the province at 41 degrees Celsius, and Karachi and Hyderabad recording maximum temperatures of 36 degrees Celsius and 37 degrees Celsius, respectively, with relative humidity levels recorded at 77 percent and 44 percent during the morning.
