At least five people lost their lives and 27 others were injured when a passenger bus fell into a ravine in the Talagang area of Chakwal.

According to rescue officials, the bus was traveling from Islamabad to Karachi when the accident occurred near Dhok Pathan on the GT Road. The bus reportedly veered off the road and plunged into a deep ravine, causing severe casualties.

Rescue teams reached the scene soon after receiving information about the incident and launched a relief operation. The deceased and injured were shifted to nearby hospitals for medical treatment. Officials confirmed that seven women were among the injured.

The condition of several injured passengers is said to be critical. Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident, while further details are awaited.
