Following the moment’s social media success, Mike Tindall recently explained why he gave Prince Louis the “I’m watching you” signal at the Platinum Jubilee Pageant.
The former rugby player revealed the popular image during his appearance on The Good, The Bad, and the Rugby podcast as his cohost James Haskell made fun of keeping “the future king’s youngsters in order.”
Before asking, “What were you actually doing at that time, with the usual [pointing at eyes gesture], Tins wears a hat, he goes up 100,000?” cohost Alex Payne answered, “Tins wears a hat, he goes up 100,000.”

The 43-year-old discussed his experience of watching the pageant from the front row during his interview on the podcast’s episode from June 5.
